Who isDr. Madu?
Ernest Madu is a nuclear cardiologist whose work focuses on providing affordable public healthcare in low-resource nations. He has spearheaded several global initiatives and humanitarian projects to improve health outcomes for the most underserved.
Dr. Madu is the founder and chairman of the Heart Institute of the Caribbean, the leading hospital for cardiac surgery and care in the Caribbean region. Prior to founding the Heart Institute, Madu held various academic appointments at Universities throughout the United States, such as Vanderbilt University.
